I see this correlation meaningful and interesting especially since it involves the intercommunication of two different sciences: psychology and medicine. Williamson and Feyer’s article focus around fatigue and its effects; it uses the already known alcohol intoxication reactions as a model to standardize results. Fatigue in a known issue whose effects are acknowledged but not assessed properly and highly underestimated. Fatigue poses a risk to health and safety, being one of the main causes of road accidents.
